Houston, TX – December 16, 2008 - iland Internet Solutions, a leading global provider of Hosted Cloud Services, High Availability VMware VI Enterprise Solutions, Managed Colocation and High Speed IP Bandwidth, announced today they have signed a license for space in CRG West’s Wilshire Annex data center in Los Angeles. iland’s Phase 1 CRG West expansion encompasses approximately 1,500 sq ft with future plans to expand within the facility.
This new agreement augments iland’s colocation footprint in the California market, complimenting existing data center space in nearby Tustin, California, as well as San Diego, San Francisco and Oakland. CRG West’s Wilshire Annex data center is ideal for bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive networks such as iland and its clients. CRG West also offers redundant dark fiber and DWDM access directly to the company’s internationally-renowned One Wilshire location, one of the most connected data centers in the world with over 300 international carriers and enterprise networks. iland customers can also easily access iland’s 10 Gb Ethernet IP network for cost-effective connections to Tier 1 backbones.
iland is transforming its 1,500 square feet of space to become the company’s latest High Availability Hub. The Hub will include access to iland’s hosted VMware VI Enterprise Solutions, where businesses can host multiple operating systems and multiple applications locally and in remote locations, allowing maximum performance, high availability, data protection and improved disaster recovery processes. This hosted VMware solution also allows organizations to reduce space, power and equipment costs.
