Cyber Development Group (CDGI) announced the launch of its third cloud based enterprise-computing data center. The facility, named the Enterprise Cloud Computing Center 3 or, ECCC 3, is located on CDGI’s Mt. Prospect Illinois Resiliency Campus.
The ECCC 3 will be deployed with SSAE 15 SOC 1 and SOC 2 certifications in conjunction with PCI Level-2 certifications. It contains 6 tier 3 enhanced HIPAA / PCI / ISO Certified Enterprise data centers ranging in size from 1,000 to 10,000 Square Feet. A key advantage of the ECCC 3 facility solutions is the pre-built capacity which is able to support 200% growth while providing an industry leading SLA corresponding to a $3 Million value.
The facility has also been selected by NEC Corporation of America (NEC) to serve as its disaster recovery facility and regional parts / service depot. The solution will
serve as NEC’s launching pad for its Cloud in a Vault Enterprise Computing Infrastructure as a Service Solution. According to the press release issued on June 11th,
“CDGI has an unprecedented track record of deploying state-of-the-art, enterprise-class computing facilities,” says Mike Mitsch, Vice President of the Enterprise Technology Group, NEC. “We are pleased to not only be working with CDGI to expand our mission critical computing infrastructure in North America, but to deliver the first fully integrated and virtualized server, storage, and networking architecture to the market under the ‘Cloud in a Vault’ infrastructure solution. Built upon NEC’s award winning ProgrammableFlow network infrastructure, CDGI and NEC are at the forefront of delivering the advantages of Software Defined Networking (SDN) to the hosting market – as a cloud service.”
