Cologix Announces COO Todd Coleman’s Participation At Toronto’s Capacity North America
Bandwidth-intensive applications and big data have increased demand for Cloud computing, which in turn resulted in a greater need for the construction of data center and colocation facilities. Data centers have become quite the hot topic in today’s North American IT market. But their popularity has also spurred competition amongst data center providers trying to keep up with the evolving needs of on-the-go consumers. In order to offer the latest and greatest in data centers technology, these providers have to remain up-to-date and informed on state of-the-art data center innovations and trends as well as building strategies.
When one thinks about the latest and greatest in data center technology, Cologix is an organization that usually comes to mind. Cologix is the largest network-neutral interconnection and one of the largest data center colocation providers in the US and Canada. The company maintains 11 data centers across North America, strategically located in the five major metropolitan markets of Dallas, Minneapolis, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Capacity North America is another name associated with the North American data center movement. Taking place October 23rd and 24th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the annual conference examines recent developments and the future strategy of the North American wholesale market, including data center real estate. The conference is in its 12th year of uniting 120+ diverse carriers and service providers to share their insight on the current and future trends and technologies driving (or poised to drive) the market.
This year, the event will feature over 30 executive panelists participating in riveting panel discussions, as well as 100+ exhibitors showcasing their innovative technologies on the exhibition floor of the Hyatt Regency Toronto. Included in this prestigious mix will be Cologix COO Todd Coleman. Mr. Coleman will be serving as an executive speaker on the “Spotlight of Data Centers: Trends, Drivers and Opportunities” panel, taking place at 3:15 pm on Tuesday, October 23rd.
“I am honored to serve as a panelist at the 2012 Capacity North America event. With the rise of Cloud computing, data center construction is an industry trend that has been growing in popularity throughout the US and countries around the world,” comments Todd Coleman.
Mr. Coleman also added that Cologix’s level of expertise and commitment allots them a deep understanding of the current demand for carrier neutral data centers and their importance in driving connectivity amongst the world’s most robust communication markets.
