With over 10,000 qualified small business owners and approximately 40 small business seminars, some may refer to the New York Business Expo and Conference (NYxPO) as the “World Series” of this fall’s expos. If the NYxPO holds these “major league” standards, then it may have not been a complete surprise to many to see the infamous, New York Yankees pitcher, Mariano Rivera at the AT&T booth; however, it was! Mariano Rivera, often referred to as “Mo,” and AT&T brought many smiles to small business owner’s faces as he greeted convention goers and signed countless autographs. A few members of the iMiller Public Relations team, and Yankee fans at heart, started off their day at the expo with a real treat and were able to see the legend himself.
From data centers, to up-and-coming authors and beyond, the expo floor featured an eclectic mix of small business owners. Although AT&T had an impressive display with Mariano Rivera, the small business owners presented some moving displays, showcasing many innovative technologies that their companies had to offer. Not only did the expo offer the packed exhibition floor, but visitors were also able to attend seminars based around small businesses. These seminars included discussions on social media, event planning, productivity, sales, and more.
The New York Business Expo and Conference provided attendees and small business owners with impeccable opportunities to learn and network, throwing a “perfect game” in this year’s fall expo season.
