Tim becoming the Head of Strategic Accounts not only reinforces Datalec’s dedicated team for client interaction but also amplifies the company’s overall strategy for engaging customers. Tim will be responsible for supervising the firm’s strategic connections and cultivating and nurturing relationships to uphold DPI’s renowned reputation for maintaining 100% client retention. Additionally, Tim will review the company’s expanding supply chain and concentrate on assessing and approving its vendor base, aiming to streamline operations and enhance business practices by consolidating resources.
With a remarkable career spanning over four decades, Tim brings a wealth of experience to his new role. From the mid-1980s until 2018, he immersed himself in import distribution logistics within the IT sector, gaining invaluable insights along the way. His professional journey has taken him to an impressive 81 countries across EMEA, America, and the Asia Pacific region. Throughout his tenure, Tim has achieved numerous career milestones, but he holds a special sense of pride for his speaking engagements at esteemed conferences such as DC Dynamics and DCW in Asia. Moreover, he has had the privilege of presenting programs to audiences in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Mumbai, Bangalore, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, enriching his cross-cultural experiences and broadening his industry reach.
