JetCool and Start Campus have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding high-efficiency cooling options for large scale data centers. This collaboration, announced on October 15, 2024, intends to complement Start Campus’ wide portfolio of cooling solutions and aligns the strengths of both companies to redefine the future of sustainable data center infrastructure.
Innovative Cooling Solutions for Next-Gen Data Centers
At the heart of this partnership is JetCool’s advanced patented microconvective cooling technology. This cutting-edge solution will be made available to customers at Start Campus’ impressive 1.2 GW SINES DC in Portugal, complementing the facility’s existing AI-ready power and cooling infrastructure.
Key features of JetCool’s technology include:
- Microjet impingement approach targeting hotspots directly on chips
- Ability to use coolant temperatures over 60°C
- Reduced need for mechanical chillers
- Enablement of free cooling even in warmer climates
- Significant reduction in power consumption
