The breakout session “Beyond backup – How battery storage is redefining data center energy strategy” will explore the evolving role of battery energy storage systems (BESSs) in supporting data center resiliency, AI-driven load dynamics, and sustainability initiatives.
Wallace, who brings deep expertise in emerging technology and product management for energy storage solutions, will discuss the role of nickel-zinc and other battery technologies in supporting power quality and uptime while managing dynamic power demands. The panel will also explore BESS applications for renewable energy integration, peak shaving, load shifting and grid participation.
