Pacnet recently announced that two of its esteemed executives, CEO Carl Grivner and President of Managed Services Jim Fagan, have been selected to take part as panelists at PTC’14: New World, New Strategies, taking place January 19-22 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, HI. The annual conference is one of the industry’s most attended events, bringing together senior executives in telecommunications, information technology and related industries to forge new strategies for the future of the industry.
Mr. Grivner will join fellow executives Margaret Dawson, VP of Product Marketing and Cloud Evangelist, HP Cloud Services, and Lew Tucker, VP and CTO, Cloud Computing, Cisco, on the keynote ‘Technology Developments’, taking place January 20 at 11:40 AM local time in Coral 3. The session, moderated by Ina Fried, Senior Editor at All Things Digital, will take an in-depth look at how technology will leverage techniques such as virtualization and Software Defined Networking (SDN), to meet growing demand for data-intensive innovations.
Mr. Fagan will participate in the ‘Executive Insight Roundtable 1: Carriers’, set to take place January 20 at 2:00 PM local time in Coral 1. Paul Brodsky, Senior Analyst, TeleGeography, will moderate the discussion. Mr. Fagan, alongside fellow executives Holger Magnussen, SVP, International Carrier Sales and Solutions (ICSS), Deutsche Telekom AG, and Andrew Higginbotham, CTO, Savvis, and President, Savvisdirect, will delve into the topic of carriers in the telecom space.
