DataCloud USA 2022, a premier event for the US data center infrastructure market hosted by BroadGroup, took place on September 14-15th and featured insightful panels, informative exhibits, and empowering networking opportunities with decision makers from across data center, cloud, edge, HPC, content, big tech sector as well as regional and international enterprises.  The first-ever DataCloud USA event hosted over 200 attendees and featured more than 50 keynote speakers and interactive booth exhibits from 11 companies that provided attendees with a closer look into the services they offer.

Quantum Loophole, an innovative developer of first-of-its-kind Gigawatt-scale master planned data center communities, hit the ground running at Datacloud USA 2022 while participating as the event’s Diamond Sponsor. The company was enthusiastic and grateful for the opportunity to be such a key player in the success of the event while having the opportunity to market themselves on an even larger scale. The team participated in one-on-one meetings with other attendees, a booth exhibit on the main floor, and two panel discussions.

Josh Snowhorn, the Founder & CEO of Quantum Loophole, was a keynote speaker in the discussions, “How is technology shaping the future of sustainable data centers?” and “How are we managing the implications of limited space and power?” Both panels provided important outlooks on the current and future developments of data centers from a sustainability perspective and from the view of the impact on supply-constrained markets and the implications of moving data to new developments which lead to rave reviews from attendees.

Snowhorn, being an auto racing enthusiast and founder of TrackRats, LLC, a premier car club for track enthusiasts, was also able to provide attendees with arguably the grandest part of the event. Quantum Loophole kicked off Day 1 with the unveiling of two company branded McLaren sports cars from the Circuit of the Americas track.

DataCloud USA was a great opportunity for Quantum Loophole to showcase the progress being made with the QLoop network, a massive a 40± mile hyperscale fiber ring connecting Quantum Loophole’s 2,100+ acre Quantum Frederick data center development in Maryland to Northern Virginia’s Data Center Alley and network with some of the top companies in the North American digital infrastructure industry. The team was able to meet many people who are looking for solutions that their company handles, as well as learn about how other organizations are tackling similar problems. The conference was very informative and was a great way to connect decision makers from the Datacloud Community.
