Aqua Comms DAC (“Aqua Comms”), the operator of Ireland’s first dedicated subsea fibre-optic network interconnecting New York, Dublin and London, announces today that its Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Bayliff, will participate at the iCU’17 Frankfurt, taking place Tuesday, 5 September 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany.  During the panel session, “The Emergence of Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Submarine Cables,” Mr. Bayliff will leverage more than 25 years’ experience in senior executive, operational and technical roles throughout the global telecommunications industry to provide attendees with an insider perspective on A.I. trends and the ways in which they will impact the subsea cable industry.

In addition, on Wednesday, 4 October, Aqua Comms Chief Network Officer, Andy Hudson, will participate on the  iCU’17 Amsterdam panel titled, “Data Centres & Colocation Services – How Are They Making Waves in Subsea Cable Optimization?”  With more than three decades of experience in the national and international telecoms arena, Mr. Hudson will provide insight regarding the impact of various data centre and colocation trends on modern submarine networks.
