Businesses typically hire wholesale data center providers to maintain control and access to their critical infrastructure while saving money on network-related expenses. Many, however, wind up getting blindsided with unexpected charges like monthly cross-connect fees, which can significantly drive up the cost of colocation.

Infomart Data Centers is one national wholesale data center provider that is now offering toll-free cross-connects at its Dallas Building Meet Me Room (BMMR). Just recently, Infomart announced the launch of its RackReady® Wholesale solution, a by-the-rack wholesale colocation product that provides customers cross-connects to carriers located in its BMMR at no monthly fee.

Infomart plans to distribute RackReady Wholesale primarily through its Channel Partner Program. It will be available in three power options and will include a rack, power, cooling and connectivity. The offering will enable cloud and managed service providers, enterprises and cloud delivery networks to lease wholesale racks in the Tier III facility with minimal upfront commitment.

What’s more, Infomart’s channel partners can now leverage RackReady Wholesale colocation to deliver high-speed network services in a way that is cost-effective.

“RackReady Wholesale is a win-win for both our customers and ecosystem partners,” explained Sandy Thielamay, VP of Technology at Infomart Data Centers. “Providing a wholesale by-the-rack product enables more clients to economically access the abundant network at this iconic fiber hub. Distributing through the channel and service providers enriches the client experience and unlocks revenue streams for our trusted partners.”

RackReady Wholesale is now available at Infomart Dallas, and there are plans to launch the solution in 13 additional markets within the year. The Infomart Dallas BMMR now hosts 13 carriers, including Unite Private Networks, Level 3 Communications, Hurricane Electric, Cogent Communications, InnerCity FiberNet, WireStar Networks, Fibernet Direct, DE-CIX, Servedby the Net and more.
