The industry veteran will help Bluebird manage high bandwidth needs
COLUMBIA, MO – April 3, 2024 – Bluebird Network, a communications infrastructure provider and operator of more than 11,000 miles of fiber and two data centers, announces the recent appointment of Chris Melloway as the Director of System Solutions Engineering and Sales Support, effective Q’1 of 2024. In this new role, Chris will leverage his extensive background and industry experience at Bluebird Network to lead a team of professionals dedicated to delivering customer-focused solutions.
Melloway, a former U.S. Army Telecommunications specialist, brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. With six years as a Cellular Technician and another five years within Bluebird Network’s Solution Engineering team, Melloway is well-versed in handling a broad spectrum of telecommunications challenges. Having previously served as a field technician and lead tech, Melloway has a profound understanding of the intricacies of the industry.
“I am thrilled to lead a team that is committed to providing customer-focused solutions,” he said. “Bluebird Network is well-equipped to handle diverse needs, from out-of-the-box solutions to high-bandwidth requirements, and I’m happy to help grow this vision across the burgeoning Midwest markets.
