Bluebird Network, a communications infrastructure provider and operator of two data centers and more than 10,600 miles of fiber, has announced that their anticipated fiber expansion in Salina, Kansas is now live. Providing customers with a digital transformation, residents and local businesses of the community can now benefit from secure and reliable connectivity. 

With just over 45,000 residents, Salina is the 10th largest city in Kansas. This network build will have a Point of Presence (PoP) within the Salina, Kansas community, allowing local businesses and organizations to leverage Bluebird’s full suite of high-quality, high-speed fiber connectivity. Earlier in the year, Bluebird completed a network expansion in Waterloo, Iowa with 11.74 route miles of fiber and now the company can add another 13.63 miles of new fiber route to their track sheet. With this addition of 13.63 miles of fiber route, the Salina populace will find it easier to connect with others, upload data, load websites, and stream on a much faster and dependable scale.
