Possamai will explore how data centers and carrier hotels can work with their competitors to benefit all on Tuesday, July 18 at 1:50 PM CST

COLUMBIA, MO – July 11, 2023 – Bluebird Network, a Midwest telecommunications company, announces today that its Data Center Facility Manager, Rafael Possamai, will lead a discussion breaking down the often contentious relationship between data centers and dedicated carrier hotels at the Midwest Peering Summit 2023 taking place July 17-18, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa. Possamai has over a decade of experience in the digital infrastructure industry.

Possamai oversees operations at one of the company’s two data centers — Bluebird Quad Cities Data Center on the Iowa-Illinois border. With a hands-on approach, he and the Bluebird team ensure uptime, reliability and exemplary customer service throughout Bluebird’s data center and data security solutions.

On Tuesday, July 18th at 1:50 PM CST, Possamai will speak on “Collaboration over Competition: Building a Network Interconnection Ecosystem.” The program will explore how data centers and carrier hotels can work with their competitors to create an interconnection ecosystem that ultimately benefits everyone — especially customers. Possamai will dive into the day-to-day of creating and maintaining these industry relationships through collaboration over competition, and how this leads to improved services overall. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of interconnectedness and navigating the crowded marketplace by making beneficial connections.
