(Nasdaq: DUOT) has signed a five-year agreement with CN (NYSE: CNI), enabling Duos to provide Machine Vision/AI Wayside Detection Safety Data through a subscription service. CN has been using Duos’ technology for over five years to complement manual inspections, enhancing fleet maintenance across its rail network in Canada and the United States. This innovative solution helps improve safety and operational efficiency by offering predictive maintenance insights and trend analytics.
Duos, the creator of the Railcar Inspection Portal, holds ten U.S. patents for its cutting-edge technology, with 13 portals deployed across North America. Their systems support major railway operators, including Class 1s and Amtrak, by delivering real-time data that improves fleet health.
The subscription service, launching this month, allows shippers and car owners on the CN network to access this machine vision safety data, enhancing fleet maintenance and improving safety. The subscription model has already shown success in a pilot program with Amtrak, where inspectors used real-time data to ensure better railcar safety.
