It’s an exciting time to be covering the data center, cloud and IT space, as there is a tremendous amount of innovation occurring, with innumerable organizations looking to connect with press and media outlets to promote their products and services to global audiences and drive awareness about their strategic objectives.

Two conferences that should be on every media company’s radar are the co-located Data Center World and HostingCon Global 2017 events that are taking place April 3-6 at the LA Convention Center in Los Angeles. These global events will offer an inaugural press room as well as dedicated online media hubs. There will also be a combined exhibit hall for both conferences’ exhibitors. Attendees will be able to discover more services and solutions than ever before, while networking with an expanded audience.

“The inaugural media hub at this year’s co-located Data Center World and HostingCon conferences will provide attendees with virtually limitless opportunities to connect with trade and business media concerning their latest innovative products, services and partnerships,” stated Kelly Kocher, Vice President of Event Sales and Operations at Penton Technology.  “We look forward to facilitating meaningful dialogues between company representatives and the press, and believe the media hub will be a critical vehicle in creating exchanges that will have an immediate impact across both events and stakeholders throughout the data center, cloud and service provider community.”

The press room will be available Monday, April 3, noon-5 p.m.; Tuesday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Wednesday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Some of the participating media outlets for HostingCon and Data Center World include Data Center Knowledge, Data Center POST, CloudPOST, Gigaom, IT Weekly, Mission Critical Magazine and The WHIR. Many others will be joining as well.

If you are a member of the press and would like to be considered for a complimentary pass, please review the criteria for media accreditation. Qualified candidates are welcome to apply for consideration, and should contact iMiller Public Relations (iMPR) at hostingcon@imilllerpr.com or datacenterworld@imillerpr.com.

An independent public relations and content marketing consulting firm, iMPR will be managing the media hub in Room 512 at the LA Convention Center. On behalf of participating media and analysts, iMPR is accepting press kits and embargoed or regular press releases prior to and during the conference. iMPR will also be providing general assistance during the event. Submissions can be delivered electronically to HostingCon and Data Center World. A special discount rate is available for wireline distribution through Marketwired (now Nasdaq), through the same online link.
