1547 Realty’s announcement further strengthens the company’s flagship data center which is just 22 miles from New York City. In working with Rockland County, the company has been able to secure a sales tax abatement that offers 8.35% savings on all qualified capital purchases. This package significantly reduces the cost for rack deployments on new data center hardware and colocation customers coming into Orangeburg.
