Fortune, in cooperation with Boston Consulting Group, has published a list of the 50 companies that are best positioned for strong future growth. The organizations reviewed 2,300 publicly traded U.S. companies and produced the first-ever Future 50 list based on each company’s projected growth potential. The assessment included four dimensions, including technology and investments, strategy, structure and people. The result is a combined score that shows both a new metric and a new perspective for business analysis.
One company listed in the report is global cloud networking provider GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT). GTT’s inclusion on the Future 50 list is a result of the organization’s strong year-over-year financial success as well as its well-defined growth strategy. This year, the company completed several strategic acquisitions including Global Capacity and Hibernia Networks. GTT also launched new services, including its SD-WAN service, leveraging its Tier 1 internet network and range of Internet connectivity and broadband solutions.
“We are honored to be named a Fortune Future 50 company,” stated Rick Calder, GTT president and CEO. “This recognition reflects the strong efforts of our talented team and our commitment to expanding our services and global reach to deliver on our purpose of connecting people across organizations and around the world.”
GTT gives multinationals a better way to reach the cloud, with its suite of networking services including optical transport, Internet, wide area networking (WAN), managed services and voice and video services. Its Tier 1 IP network is ranked top five in the world and connects clients to any global location or application through the cloud.
