As we head towards the fourth quarter of the year, the Aqua Comms team is gearing up for a busy month in September. The team will be around the globe at 7 different events, attending, speaking and sponsoring. To start the month off, Mike Sauer, VP Americas Partner & Federal, attended Capacity North America in Denver, CO, on 5th and 6th September, where he was able to network with others from the carrier community and hear more about what’s new in the year to come. After Denver, Mr. Sauer attended the Competitive Telecoms Group golf outing in New York on 12 September where Aqua Comms was proud to be a silver sponsor of the event.

Whilst Mr. Sauer was in New York, Aqua Comms CCO, Chris Bayly and Vice President of Carrier and Wholesale, Maggie Parry, represented the team at the Carriers World 2018 event in London on 11-12 September. During the event, they joined wholesale operators, cloud/data centres, IPX providers, telcos and more.

Mid-September brought speaking opportunities for Nigel Bayliff, CEO of Aqua Comms who had the privilege of speaking at both DataCloud Ireland and INEX in Dublin. At 12:25 PM on 13 September, Mr. Bayliff spoke on a panel at DataCloud Ireland with other executives from companies such as iSquared Advisory and Irish France Subsea Cable. During the panel, “Digital Hub Connectivity”, the speakers took a deeper dive into Ireland becoming a digital hub for innovation and technology.

Later that day, at 3:30 PM Mr. Bayliff spoke at the INEX event on the topic “The Atlantic – Cables are Being Built Again”, which gave insight into how cables are brought up from 4,000m under the sea.

Over in Amsterdam on 18 September, Ruud Moelans, Senior Advisor at Aqua Comms, will be attending iCU Amsterdam. He will be hearing from key players who will share their expertise and insights on all the latest strategies, innovations and issues disrupting the landscape.

To wrap up the month of September, Nigel Bayliff and Chris Bayly will be in Singapore at Submarine Networks World from 24-26 September. Bayliff will be presenting at 11:50AM on 25 September about HAVFRUE/America Europe Connect-2 (AEC-2). On the same day, Bayliff will also be contributing to a roundtable at 2:20PM alongside Deep Blue Cable, Seaborn Networks and others.
