The Safer Buildings Coalition (SBC) has announced the inaugural Wireless Tech & Policy Summit, a one-day event that brings together tech industry and policy leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in wireless technology and public safety. The summit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24th at the National Housing Center in Washington, DC, and will feature a packed agenda of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities

This summit’s keynote speaker will be FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, who has spearheaded the FCC’s efforts to modernize infrastructure rules and accelerate the buildout of high-speed networks. With his reforms, he has enabled the private sector to construct high-speed networks in communities across the country, cut billions of dollars in red tape, and extended America’s global leadership in 5G

The agenda will include a wide range of topics that will address the most pressing issues in the industry. From broadband infrastructure funding to wireless location accuracy and managing noise and interference in public safety communications, the panel discussions will provide the perfect opportunity to delve into these topics and engage in meaningful dialogue with other professionals.
