McLean, VA, June 16, 2017 – GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT), the leading global cloud networking provider to multinational clients, announced today that Chris McKee, GTT general counsel and EVP, corporate development, will speak on a panel at the upcoming Telecom Exchange conference in New York City.

The conference will be held June 20-21 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Mr. McKee will speak on a panel titled Taking Stock: Today’s Subsea Cable Space on Wednesday, June 21, at 1:20 p.m. Eastern time. The panel will discuss current business trends in the subsea cable market and how technology will continue to shape the industry.

Mr. McKee’s participation in this panel discussion highlights GTT’s emerging leadership in subsea cable infrastructure. In February, the company completed its acquisition of Hibernia Networks, gaining subsea and terrestrial fiber assets and over 75 optical points of presence. GTT’s new cable infrastructure includes GTT Express, a 4,600-km transatlantic cable that provides route diversity between the major financial centers of North America and Europe and the lowest-latency transatlantic connectivity in the industry.

Telecom Exchange NYC features an exhibition floor, several CEO roundtables and networking receptions. Key topics of focus at the event this year, in addition to subsea cable developments, include innovation in interconnections, IoT and network security.
