HostedBizz, Canada’s leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform provider and Veeam’s 2023 North America Cloud & Service Provider of the Year, has announced its rebrand to Opti9 Technologies LLC (Opti9), effective January 1, 2025. This change marks the next chapter for HostedBizz, which was acquired by Opti9 in May 2022, signaling the company’s dedication to strengthening its footprint across North America as a managed cloud services provider.
Since the acquisition, HostedBizz and Opti9 have operated as a combined force, integrating their expertise and capabilities to expand service offerings and global data center reach. The rebranding solidifies this merger, enabling the company to provide its customers and partners with a more unified experience that leverages both HostedBizz’s IaaS strengths and Opti9’s managed cloud services for hybrid cloud, security, and application modernization.
This shift to a single brand is part of a larger integration strategy that Opti9’s leadership team views as a milestone for the company. Jim Stechyson, President of HostedBizz/Opti9, shared his optimism about the transition:
