Hudson Interxchange (Hudson IX), a prominent data center provider at 60 Hudson Street, New York City, has announced a significant expansion of its capacity within the iconic building. With construction already underway, Hudson IX is adding two new data halls with a combined capacity of 2MW, specifically designed to support high-density compute infrastructure at the rack level—an essential requirement for AI applications.
Hudson IX’s strategic location at 60 Hudson Street is strengthened by its ownership of a dedicated power infrastructure, including a direct feed from ConEd, which provides reliable access to 15MW of power. The company occupies nearly 173,000 square feet across multiple floors, offering clients ample space and power resources. Additionally, Hudson IX customers can tap into a vast network of over 300 carriers and service providers within the building, significantly boosting their connectivity options.
“We are excited to bring this additional capacity to market, expanding our current data center white space with an additional 2MW to support current and future customer needs,” said Atul Roy, CEO of Hudson IX. “This expansion marks a significant milestone for Hudson Interxchange and provides us with the ability to support high-density racks to meet the AI and machine learning needs of emerging applications and providers in the digital infrastructure sector.”
