The threat of cyber attacks and compromised data is very real, leaving many companies operating in fear and their sensitive information vulnerable. In fact, in 2014, companies reported 42.8 million detected attacks worldwide. Unfortunately, hackers are becoming more sophisticated, driving the need for more advanced security measures to ensure customer data is safe. This is especially critical within data centers. Creating a data center environment complete with the highest security and availability is of the utmost importance, and Infomart Data Centers works to meet these standards across all of its facilities.
Following a recent audit by the independent and accredited certification body A-lign, the company achieved Standards of Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) Type 1, SSAE 16 Type 1 SOC 2, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification for its Infomart Dallas data center. The certifications are a testament to the Company’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest level of service and security for its customers.
Offering a 100% uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA), Infomart has been operating without an SLA event for over six years. Infomart Dallas is also in the process of securing SAE 16 Type 2 certification, as well as The Uptime Institute Management & Operations (M&O) Stamp of Approval, both proving the effectiveness of the facilities design and controls, as well as validating its management and operational practices.
