SILICON VALLEY, Calif. – October 5, 2016 – Infomart Data Centers, a national wholesale data center provider, today announces that its SVP of Corporate Development and Chief Counsel, Andrew Gold, and CFO, Bruce MacLean, will speak at the IMN Provider Forum on Financing & Investing in Data Centers & Cloud Services Infrastructure (West), taking place October 17-18, 2016 in Santa Rosa, CA. The program focuses on the critical business issues faced by C-level executives at data center, colocation and cloud service providers. The agenda will address optimizing business models and strategies for growth, expanding to new service offerings, cost reduction and mitigation strategies, and cost-effective infrastructure investment and future-proofing.
On Monday, October 17 at 9:20 a.m., Mr. Gold will join executives from Colo Atl, ColoSpace, Inc., Equinix and 1547 Critical Systems Realty on the panel “Business Models, Growth & ROI: How Are Different Industries Mixing Business Models Within a Changing Data Center / Cloud Ecosystem?” The discussion will address evolving data center business and consumption models as well as hybrid approaches customer communication encompassing multiple models for a single company. Panelists will also provide insight into best practices for transitioning customers from colocation to cloud, innovations in interconnection-based models, and more.
On Tuesday, October 18 at 9:10 a.m., Mr. MacLean will present alongside representatives from Ebay, ESRI and Schneider Electric on the panel “Expansion Options & Where My Best ROI is… Build vs. Buy vs. Hybrid Design.” Panelists will identify key expansion considerations and attractive locations, as well as compare the advantages and disadvantages of building a second facility versus selecting colocation or cloud computing.
Later that day at 10:55 a.m., Mr. Gold, alongside panelists from Bastionhost Ltd., Limelight Networks, Open Data Centers and Rockynet, will present “New Sources of Value-Added Revenue Opportunities.” The session will identify new services deployments and verticals as well as buyer personas. Panelists will also provide insight into demand for specific services across various geographic locations.
