Network automation leader to demonstrate how enterprises can enhance cloud network provisioning leveraging a GitOps strategy in combination with Itential’s Automation Platform

ATLANTA, OCT 14, 2019Itential®, the leader in intelligent network automation for multi-domain networks, today announced that it will be showcasing its Infrastructure as Code for Cloud Network Automation Proof-of-Concept at ONUG Fall 2019, demonstrating how enterprises can enhance cloud network provisioning leveraging a GitOps strategy for managing network configuration in combination with Itential’s Automation Platform for pushing network configuration. Itential will be showcasing this solution and its multi-domain network automation capabilities at ONUG on October 16th and 17th at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.

“Today’s hybrid multi-cloud environments require orchestration and automation mechanisms that span controllers operating within multiple domains and multiple layers within a domain,” said Nick Lippis co-chair and co-founder ONUG. “ONUG is excited to include multi-domain network automation solutions like Itential, who have been instrumental in the creation of our new Orchestration and Automation Working Group, which is defining a common framework for orchestration and automation in complex hybrid multi-cloud environments. “

During ONUG, Itential will showcase how its multi-domain network automation platform enables enterprises to achieve success by:

  • Providing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) across multiple cloud providers through zero-touch policy-driven automation.
  • Utilizing software principles to manage network configuration, through Itential’s NetOps Git Pipeline.
  • Multi-domain integration including IT systems for Change Management, Resource Management, and Notifications, DevOps systems for enhanced Configuration Deployment, and infrastructure tools for declarative Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Enabling DevOps & NetOps teams to advance automation and agile network operations through built-in network intelligence and low-code, drag-and-drop development.

“The velocity of change in cloud networking requires new ways of automating the network in support of today’s application first mindset. In order for organizations to keep pace, they must focus on building trust and confidence through the adoption of test and validation automation with a machine-first mindset,” said Chris Wade, CTO and Co-Founder, Itential. “Itential is pleased to be a supporting sponsor of ONUG, working to accelerate automation and software-driven infrastructure for today’s digital enterprises.”

Itential will present its Infrastructure as Code for Cloud Network Automation PoC at ONUG on Wednesday October 16 at 12:05pmET in the Future Forward Room. Click here for more details or to schedule a time to speak with Itential at the event.
