For the second consecutive year, media representatives are invited to the Press Room at International Telecoms Week (ITW), May 8 to 11 in Chicago. ITW 2016 is produced by Capacity Media and will be held jointly at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and Swissôtel in Chicago. The event will converge over 6,500 delegates from all areas of the global wholesale telecommunications community, representing over 1,980 companies and more than 148 countries.
The ITW Press Room, exclusively managed by independent public relations and marketing consulting firm iMiller Public Relations (iMPR), provides a space for attendees and participating media to meet for briefings and one-on-one exchanges. The site will also enable the global carrier and telecommunications ecosystem participants to share stories and developments.
As of right now, more than 20 qualified media representatives will be on hand in the ITW Press Room. Some of the companies that have already committed to cover ITW 2016 include Capacity Magazine, Chicago Inno, Current Analysis, Data Center Post, Discerning Analytics, Global Telecoms Business, Light Reading, TechDay, Telecompetitor, Telecom Review North America, Telecom Newsroom, Telecom Talk and Telexchange Journal.
The ITW Press Room will be open on Sunday, May 8, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. CDT. It will also be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements are also being made by iMPR for press that are unable to travel to Chicago for the event. Virtual one-on-one video briefings with attending delegates can be accommodated.
In addition to meeting with onsite and virtual press representatives, ITW sponsors and attendees will have the opportunity to submit news and press releases for ITW’s Show Daily, a magazine that is published each day of the event. Sponsors and attendees can submit media kits and press releases to attending media until 11:59 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, May 3. After May 3, press kits and media kits must be delivered directly to the Press Room during open hours.
