In the data center space, like any industry sector that is dynamic and competitive, there will always be a demand for strong leadership capable of driving sales and achieving market growth.

Such is the case with Infomart Data Centers, which recently appointed Dan Ephraim as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Ephraim will be responsible for Infomart’s sales, marketing and leasing activities as well as providing national leadership for the company’s sales team.

Before joining Infomart Data Centers, Mr. Ephraim worked as Director at Digital Realty Trust, where he was responsible for leasing data centers and mission-critical facilities to global 1000 firms, Internet enterprises and North American service providers offering wholesale colocation solutions. Prior to this, Ephraim was Regional Director of Sales and Leasing at DuPont Fabros Technology as well as Director of Sales and Marketing at Compu Dynamics. He has also held positions at the Globix Corporation (now QTS Realty Trust) and Logicworks.

“Dan Ephraim’s extensive industry experience in sales and business development for data center and colocation service providers will prove to be an immediate asset to the growth and success of Infomart,” said John Sheputis, President, Infomart Data Centers. “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ephraim to the growing team at our Ashburn facility, and look forward to a long-lasting and productive relationship as he works to expand business by spearheading innovative sales and marketing initiatives.”

Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Ephraim will report out of Infomart’s new Ashburn, Virginia data center.

“I’m extremely pleased to join Infomart Data Centers, where my goal will be to align our business to drive value for our clients’ needs and strategy,” stated Mr. Ephraim. “Infomart Ashburn, developed on a property whose historical significance is well-known as the catalyst of data center growth throughout the region, is now a benchmark for reliable, efficient and sustainable colocation in Northern Virginia’s Data Center Alley. Today, a large portion of the world’s internet traffic passes through Loudoun County, positioning the Ashburn facility to be one of the most connected and highly sought-after colocation sites in the eastern U.S.”
