Cloud networking providers across the industry are now expanding their channel programs to provide greater support for partners and resellers.

GTT Communications, Inc., for instance, has announced the expansion of its channel partner program, which provides comprehensive sales support, an array of marketing resources, a comprehensive service portfolio and dedicated account management for partners.

GTT, it should be noted, offers partners access to a dedicated sales support team covering critical functions such as sales engineering, quoting, client account management and project management as well as marketing support, including promotional and product training materials.

Moving forward, agent partners will benefit from a wider portfolio of cloud networking services, including GTT’s industry-leading SD-WAN offering that leverages the company’s Tier 1 Internet backbone as well as its extensive range of Internet and broadband connectivity solutions for improved application performance and greater bandwidth. GTT has also implemented low latency Ethernet services, optical transport and DDoS mitigation to its portfolio in 2017 while expanding its global network into Africa and Latin America.

“The indirect channel is core to GTT’s organic growth and a key focus for our company,” stated Eric Warren, GTT division president for Enterprise. “We have upgraded our channel partner program to ensure the success of our agent partners, from initial engagement with GTT to direct support of our partners’ end user clients.”

GTT’s revamped channel partner program will be led by three regional vice presidents, each having an extensive amount of industry experience heading successful channel partner programs. Roland Saenz will oversee the west region; Michael Gough will supervise the central region; and Robert Westervelt will lead the east region.

GTT will showcase the exciting expansion of its channel program at various events throughout the coming year, including the 2018 Channel Partner Conference & Expo, taking place April 18, 2018 at the Venetian & Sands Expo in Las Vegas, where GTT president and CEO Rick Calder will deliver a keynote address.
