MEF16 Keynote by Josh Goodell, Vice President, AT&T Network On Demand – In this keynote, Josh provides a progress report on AT&T’s network transformation and new innovative services that are enabled by service orchestration (LSO), SDN, and NFV.AT&T has seen about a 50% reduction in network provisioning time across the board (inclusive of the time it takes to build fiber to customer sites). Once a customer has a connection, AT&T is able to provide changes to its on-demand services within seconds. Josh shares how the company’s on-demand services (Switched Ethernet, Dedicated Internet, NFV-based Flexware) and new SD-WAN offering are providing increased agility and flexibility for customers.
