The International Business Awards, also known as the “International Stevies,” has emerged as the world’s premier business recognition program. Now in its 14th year, the International Business Awards are open to all organizations regardless of whether they are public or private, for-profit or non-profit, large or small. This year, entries were submitted from more than 60 countries and territories, and on October 21, the international business community will gather for a special ceremony to honor this year’s award winners. The event will take place at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.

One company that turned out to be a big winner was GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT), a leading global cloud networking provider to multinational clients. Just recently, GTT announced it was recognized with two gold Stevies, and one silver.

This marks the second year in a row that GTT received a gold Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in the telecommunications category. The company also received a gold Stevie Award for Fastest-Growing Company of the Year (for both the U.S. and Canada). GTT received a silver Stevie Award for Company of the Year in Telecommunications-Large Category.

“We are honored that the International Business Awards has recognized GTT with these Stevie awards,” stated Rick Calder, GTT president and CEO. “These accolades reflect GTT’s rapid growth over the past year, with the addition of new infrastructure, services, capabilities and talent. We continue to deliver on our purpose of connecting people across organizations and around the world.”

Its Tier 1 IP network is ranked top five in the world and connects clients to any location and any application in the cloud.
