Businesswoman hand press web telephone button sign. business, technology andGlobal enterprises now require on-demand access to borderless voice and data services across disparate devices and diverse communications technologies. Obtaining this access, however, can be challenging when working with multiple service providers.

It’s much more efficient to consult with a single source that can orchestrate the hyperconnectivity of these disparate elements seamlessly, securely and without interruption.

One company now offering this service is Globalgig, which recently acquired leading VoIP provider Velis4. In doing so, Globalgig added hosted VoIP phone, SIP trunking, hosted call center and hosted Skype for Business services to its existing suite of products and services. The acquisition enhances Globalgig’s ability to provide multinational enterprises with a comprehensive suite of managed communications solutions.

Globalgig is now a single source for hyperconnectivity that can help businesses achieve maximum agility, productivity and efficiency across any device, and from any location both domestically and internationally.

“The mobility element of the VoIP market so far has been distinctly underserved,” stated Velis4 Chief Executive Officer Anthony Jett, who will serve as Chief Operations Officer for the combined entity. “LTE finally provides a reliable VoIP connection to the mobile device, so bringing Velis4’s technology leadership and Globalgig’s mobile footprint together creates a synergy with tremendous enterprise market potential. I am very pleased to be joining Ernest and the Globalgig team, Ernest has a proven track record of accomplishment in telecommunications and I look forward to partnering with him to make Globalgig a success.

Globalgig Chief Executive Officer Ernest Cunningham also spoke about the acquisition of Velis4.

“We are extremely pleased to acquire Velis4, a company whose suite of services perfectly aligns with the Globalgig strategy of orchestrating hyperconnectivity for the enterprise business continuum,” Mr. Cunningham said. “The enterprise mobility and managed communications market is currently fragmented, with no one provider offering the agility and ubiquity that today’s global businesses require to operate at their maximum performance level. Globalgig’s acquisition of Velis4 will further enhance our mission to solve this critical need.”

Globalgig was recently acquired by iGEM. Effective immediately, Velis4’s services will be provided under the registered Globalgig brand.
