Houston, TX – October 21, 2025 – Quantica Infrastructure, LLC (Quantica), developer of integrated digital infrastructure combining renewable power, fiber conduit networks, and data center campuses, today announced that Chief Executive Officer John Chesser will participate in a featured debate discussion at DCD>Connect | Virginia. The event will take place November 3, 2025, in Leesburg, Virginia, bringing together more than 2,000 senior leaders from across the cloud & colocation ecosystem.
The session, Amped up, but out of time? Who can keep the grid powered in the age of AI?, will feature industry leaders debating whether relying on the grid is sustainable, or even desirable, as AI rapidly drives up the energy demands of data centers. Speakers will tackle hard questions around turbine shortages, fuel costs, gas as a potential bridge fuel, and the viability of renewables, microgrids, and fusion as long-term solutions. With “bring your own power” strategies gaining traction, the session will confront whether data centers are prepared to become their own utilities. Held under Chatham House Rule, the discussion will uncover the realities and future of powering AI-scale infrastructure.
