Lisbon, Portugal – June 14, 2023 –  Start Campus, an organization developing cutting-edge sustainable data center services, will join the conversation on the burgeoning market in Africa for digital connectivity, data centers and sustainable energy infrastructure at Platform Africa.  Fabiola Bordino, Head of Sustainability, Communication & Marketing for Start Campus, is joining a panel at the summit on Saturday, June 22 at 2:30 PM local time in Marrakech, Morocco.

The eyes of the world are fixed on Africa as the expansion of fiber, dark fiber, new subsea cable systems and cable landing stations around the continent creates new growth markets. Data center infrastructure development is rapidly changing across the continent, yet South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt remain an almost untapped investment opportunity for the capital world.

About Start Campus

Start Campus is responsible for the development of the SINES project, a Hyperscale Data Centre campus with a capacity of 495MW in Sines, in an investment of up to 3.5 billion euros.
