Ray La Chance to Discuss the Penetration of Wireless and Broadband Connectivity Throughout New York City on Tuesday, May 24

On Tuesday, May 24 at 1:30 PM, Mr. La Chance will join representatives from the New York State Wireless Association, New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, and Edge Communications on a panel titled “City of New York Case Study,” which will examine the penetration of wireless and broadband connectivity throughout the city.  The most densely populated municipality in the United States and a global hub for commerce, finance, media, technology, education and entertainment, New York has become a major focus of many private and government initiatives designed to develop ubiquitous connectivity throughout the metropolitan area.  Panelists will explore the unique political and technical challenges associated with the deployment of a wireless broadband network in New York City as well as its potential to become a model for the rest of the nation.
