Global CapacityGlobal Capacity recently completed the latest leg of its One Marketplace™ network expansion with a diverse route, 72-mile fiber ring in San Francisco.  The award-winning One Marketplace platform combines an interconnected, aggregated data network with cloud-based applications that automate the design, pricing, delivery, and maintenance of network connectivity.  Global Capacity’s fiber rings addresses customer data connectivity demand for Cloud, video applications and Internet. Global Capacity has lit more than 210 miles of fiber across major metros Dallas, AtlantaWashington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and now San Francisco in the last eight months.

“Expanding our network presence allows Global Capacity to offer services that enable our customers’ solutions – voice, data, and the Cloud – at any speed from 1 Mbps to 10 Gbps,” said Patrick Hannon, Chief Revenue Officer of Global Capacity.

Global Capacity’s metro rings are purpose-built to interconnect key network hubs, carrier hotels, and Local Service Offices (LSOs) with high-demand data centers. This enables the delivery of the right connections and bandwidth for Cloud applications.  Global Capacity also interconnects a broad portfolio of access services including Broadband, Ethernet over Copper (EoC) and T1 with core high-bandwidth Ethernet and Wavelength services, making connecting across metros as simple as within data centers.

While San Francisco rounded out Global Capacity’s network expansion in 2015, it won’t be the last stop for One Marketplace.  The Company’s President, Jack Lodge, vows to continue investment in the company’s network, systems, and processes to better serve customers and help them effectively connect across the country, or across town to the destinations of their choice.
