In working with Rockland County, the company has been able to secure a sales tax abatement that offers 8.35% savings on all qualified capital purchases. This package significantly reduces the cost for rack deployments on new data center hardware and colocation customers coming into Orangeburg. As a result of its new capacity, 1547 can now provide customers in the New York metropolitan area with increased space, power and connectivity meeting core data center infrastructure needs.
