Hudson InterXchange (Hudson IX) has launched a new 1 MW data hall at 60 Hudson Street, introducing vital high-density colocation capacity to a heavily supply-constrained New York City market. This operational expansion provides rare access to both scalable power and space in one of the nation’s most network-dense carrier hotels. By unlocking this new supply, Hudson IX aims to alleviate the growing infrastructure pressures caused by rapid cloud adoption, real-time applications, and evolving enterprise requirements.
The facility is highly flexible and equipped to support a broad range of deployments, accommodating everything from traditional enterprise cabinets to bespoke, high-density configurations necessary for compute-intensive workloads like AI inference. Because the data hall is situated within an interconnection hub that supports over 300 networks and service providers, it offers critical low-latency connectivity to a diverse customer base, including content platforms, cloud operators, and financial institutions.
This recent launch represents the beginning of a longer-term digital infrastructure growth strategy. Hudson IX plans to bring an additional 1 MW data hall online in the second quarter of 2026, with an ultimate roadmap to expand its total operational capacity at 60 Hudson Street to more than 10 MW. This continued investment reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting organizations that require proximity, performance, and scalability in a market where space and power are increasingly limited.
