Event to highlight Green Capital’s Atlas GigaHub project in Chubut, Argentina, and its vision for AI-ready digital infrastructure powered by integrated energy platforms
CHUBUT, ARGENTINA – July 21, 2026 – Green Capital S.A. (“Green Capital” or the “Company”), a renewable energy and infrastructure developer focused on building the foundation for the next generation of digital infrastructure, today announced a strategic partnership agreement signing ceremony for its Atlas GigaHub project in Argentina. The project serves as a model for AI-ready data center development that integrates data center campuses, power generation, energy storage, and supporting infrastructure in regions with abundant renewable energy resources. This signing event will formalize the collaboration between Green Capital and its partners and mark the next phase of the project. Important local figures, including Ignacio Torres, Governor of Chubut, Argentina, are expected to attend.
As demand for AI-ready digital infrastructure accelerates worldwide, the industry is increasingly seeking locations that can support large-scale data center development with the resources needed for long-term growth. With the Atlas GigaHub project in Chubut, Green Capital is advancing a new framework for AI-ready data center development that does not draw electricity from the national grid, placing zero burden on the local power infrastructure. The project is planned to support up to 3 GW of IT capacity powered by approximately 10 GW of renewable energy generation. This off-grid and completely independent model is expected to create long-term economic value for local communities, partners, and stakeholders.
