June 27, 2018 — Aqua Comms DAC (“Aqua Comms”), the operator of Ireland’s first dedicated subsea fibre-optic network interconnecting New York, Dublin and London, announces today that its Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Bayliff will speak at Subsea EMEA, taking place 10-11 July 2018, in Marseille, France. The company also announces that Mr. Bayliff will speak at CAPRE’S Ireland and Emerging European Markets Data Centre Summit, taking place on 26 July in Dublin.
At Subsea EMEA, on Tuesday, 10 July, Mr. Bayliff will join other subsea cable and technology sector executives on the panel discussion, “The New Consortium – Forever Altering the Traditional Subsea Cable Business Model?” Mr. Bayliff, who has more than 30 years of experience encompassing senior executive, operational and technical roles in the global telecommunications industry, will discuss the future of the thriving subsea cable market.
At CAPRE’s Ireland and Emerging European Markets Data Centre Summit, on Thursday, 26 July, Mr. Bayliff will join other active infrastructure developers, investors, and end-users on the panel discussion, “Ireland Data Centre Market 360: What Firms are Developing, Investing and Why? And, Analysis of Continued Hyperscale Development and Enterprise IT Flight-To-Cloud on Future Investment.” On this panel, Mr. Bayliff will discuss Ireland’s growth in the data centre arena and share his analysis of demand levels for IT services providers versus infrastructure providers.
