Telecommunications and service providers must increase communication and collaboration in order to build an environment where consumers can connect and stream data from anywhere and on any device. No company can build the Internet of Things (IoT) alone, as it will require a great deal of teamwork.
Collaboration will therefore be a hot topic at the upcoming Northeast DAS & Small Cell Association’s (NEDAS) fifth annual New York City Summit, taking place April 20 from 8:30 a.m. -8 p.m. at the New York Academy of Medicine in Manhattan.
Leading infrastructure service provider, SQUAN, has announced the acquisition of Osmose Communication Services (OCS) from its parent company Osmose Utilities Services. Osmose is known as a leader in pole engineering, maintenance and deployment services to utilities throughout the U.S., while OCS provides transport engineering, outside plant delivery services, program management, and staffing solutions to telecommunications companies and electric utilities.
