As interest in hybrid cloud adoption continues to accelerate, the trend is pushing some data center providers to strengthen their core products and services while shoring up leadership and channel initiatives to best serve their enterprise clients.

Infomart Data Centers, for example, has just announced the appointment of Sandy Thielamay as Vice President of Technology. Mr. Thielamay will be responsible for providing technology leadership for the organization’s data center operations teams and new product development. He will also lead the design, build and launch of strategy for Infomart’s channel partner initiative.

Mr. Thielamay has extensive technical, managerial and business development experience spanning across North America, Europe and Africa. Before joining Infomart, he served as Director, Central Region, for IPSoft. He also served as General Manager at State Informatics Limited, as partner and Vice President of Sales at KlioSoft Inc. and as Vice President of Engineering and CTO of Totality, Inc. where he was responsible for directing all network architecture and implementation for the company’s clients.

“Sandy is a relentless innovator and recognized thought leader in both IT services and managed services,” said John Sheputis, President of Infomart Data Centers, concerning Mr. Thielamay’s appointment. “With over 20 years of expertise in designing and delivering innovative IT solutions, Sandy is the right choice to further grow Infomart’s product offerings for colocation and cloud providers. Sandy has also been asked to lead the company’s Channel Partner Program, which will provide customers with more ways to leverage the Infomart ecosystem.”

Mr. Thielamay also commented on the announcement.
