August 10, 2018 — DC BLOX, an Atlanta-based provider of data center, network and cloud services at the edge, announces today that its Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Uphues, will speak at CAPRE’s Third Annual Greater Atlanta & Southeast Data Center Summit, taking place August 21, 2018 in Atlanta.
Mr. Uphues will join Michael Shaw, Founding Partner of Principal Real Estate Partners, LLC, Kevin Ooley, President and Chief Financial Officer of Data Bank, and Brooks Snow, Founder and CEO of LumeCloud, on the morning panel session, “Life on the Edge: The Advent of 5G, Micro Data Centers and Evolution of the Next Generation.”
The panelists will discuss the future of the local data center market and the rapid shift of data to the edge, driving significant changes in cloud, data center and server farm architecture. Mr. Uphues will also explore the migration of companies from fixed public or private cloud models to a hybrid of public, private, colocation, micro and edge data centers, and how DC BLOX is positioning itself for these changes.
