DE-CIX, the leading carrier and data center neutral internet exchange (IX) operator and PacketFabric, a leading provider of hybrid and on-demand multi-cloud IT network solutions, co-hosted a BrightTALK program titled, “How to Access Peering Seamlessly”. With a network-to-network interface (NNI) connection in place, DE-CIX and PacketFabric have removed traditional obstacles – such as provisioning time frames, need for local colocation and fees for cross connections – provide easy-access to peering for their customers. The companies explain their unique and flexible approach to enabling ‘Transport to Peering’ to reach DE-CIX IX’s in Chicago, Dallas and New York.   

Ed d’Agostino, VP and General Manager of DE-CIX North America presented along with  Alex Henthorn-Iwane, CMO and Keith Burns Director of Tech Marketing for PacketFabric.  The programs offer illustrative insights to help organizations such as enterprises, ISPs and carriers understand the benefits of private, on-demand access to peering. “Often, the approach makes sense for companies to connect with DE-CIX via PacketFabric’s diverse network in order to reduce latency and improve performance,” says Ed d’Agostino.
