Don MacNeil and Phill Lawson-Shanks to Present at PTC’17 in Honolulu, HI

The event is taking place January 15-18, 2017 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii.
On Sunday, January 15 at 3:30 p.m., Mr. MacNeil will join executives from Aqua Comms, Microsoft and Digital Realty for a roundtable panel titled, “Key Business and Legal Issues Associated With Delivering Content to the Edge.” The panel will explore contracting best practices that content providers, data center operators, carriers, internet exchange operators, content delivery networks and other parties should consider when entering into strategic relationships. Mr. MacNeil will discuss strategies for working with content and communications providers to create a localized ecosystem within metro areas that can reduce costs and increase network performance, while increasing the quality of the end user experience.
On Monday, January 16 at 3:30 p.m., Mr. Lawson-Shanks will join senior executives from Webair, GTT Communications, Megaport and Level 3 for the topical session titled, “Cloud/Networking: Digital Transformation in the Changing IT Reality.” On this panel, he will discuss how to determine the right connectivity and support model for cloud-based applications and services to optimize performance, agility and security for the enterprise.
On Tuesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m., Mr. MacNeil will join industry peers from INCOMPAS, CenturyLink and Facebook for the panel, “The Global Network Challenge: How to Build and Connect the Networks of the Future.” During this panel, he will examine strategies that can expand capacity and increase speed by bringing content closer to the user.
