Epsilon CCO Carl Roberts to Moderate Panel Focusing on Carrier Transformation in the Digital Age

Singapore, May 9, 2017 — Epsilon, a privately owned global communications service provider, announces today that its CCO, Carl Roberts, will moderate a panel at International Telecoms Week (ITW), taking place May 14-17, 2017 in Chicago.  ITW is the annual meeting for the global wholesale telecoms industry, converging over 6,700 delegates from nearly 2,000 companies and more than 140 countries.

On Monday, May 15, from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mr. Roberts will moderate the panel discussion, “Wholesale Carrier 2.0 – How Do Carriers Need To Transform To Keep Up With The Digital Age?” taking place in the Swiss Tower, Gold Level, Lucerne 2.  Also joining the discussion will be Eduardo Guardincerri, CMO at Telefonica Business Solutions; Jim Fagan, Head of Global Platforms at Telstra; Lauren Love-Wright, CMO at Verizon Partner Solutions; Tom Paseka, IP Engineer at Cloudflare; and Wilfred Kwan, COO at Reliance Communications & Global Cloud Xchange.

The discussion will focus on how new and complex customer needs are causing shifts in the wholesale market, reshaping how carriers and service providers operate and deliver connectivity solutions.  Panelists will offer insight into needs, challenges and solutions from content, cloud, virtual transformation, and a variety of other perspectives to determine how carriers can innovate to drive impending digital transformation.

“To date, networks have been built to deliver services such as voice and data,” states Carl Roberts, CCO of Epsilon.  “Traditional networks must be replaced by elastic, fluid and intelligent models to enable further growth and digital transformation, as well as accommodate the explosion of on-demand services such as cloud, M2M and IoT.”
