Global CapacityOn the heels of her most recent participation as the moderator of a cloud-focused panel during Comptel Plus Spring 2014, Global Capacity’s Vice President of Product and Marketing, Mary Stanhope, switches her focus to Ethernet connectivity at the fifth annual Ethernet Technology Summit (ETS), taking place April 29 – May 1 in Santa Clara, CA.  On Thursday, May 1 at 8:30 AM, Ms. Stanhope will present Accelerating Ethernet Connectivity through Automation and Service Delivery alongside Alam Tamboli, Senior Analyst at Dell’Oro Group, Inc., and other industry experts during the ETS breakout track, Systems Designers: Network Connections.

Ms. Stanhope’s educational segment will explore solutions to network connectivity challenges as todays’ market continues to push the limits in content, virtualization and global expansion.  Drawing from her expertise in Ethernet connectivity. Stanhope will reveal industry best practices for building cost-effective, high-performance global networks, how to simplify and automate Ethernet delivery in a complex, evolving and multi-vendor network and the value of abstracting the network through application program interfaces (APIs).

Ms. Stanhope will also serve as the Carrier Ethernet expert alongside GigaOM Analyst Aileen Arcilla on an ETS roundtable discussion, taking place 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.  The discussion will converge experts in prominent industry topics and emerging fields, including Carrier Ethernet, Virtualization, Data Centers, 40/100/400GbE, Marketing, Security, Software-defined Networking (SDN), Cloud Computing, Big Data, and more.

Global Capacity’s One Marketplace has streamlined the delivery of Ethernet connectivity while maximizing customer experience.  Combining an aggregated, interconnected, physical Ethernet network with a Cloud application that automates the design, pricing, ordering, delivery and maintenance of Ethernet access services, One Marketplace effectively eliminates the complexity and inefficiency prevalent in the Ethernet access network market today.  By utilizing Global Capacity’s award winning One Marketplace platform, customers gain flexibility, speed and service options with a single SLA, contract, point of contact, and full network visibility and management.

ETS focuses on Ethernet and its use throughout the networking space, converging Ethernet technology users, partners, designers and industry luminaries to explore key considerations for empowering modern infrastructure and gaining a competitive edge.
