Global organizations now have new options for seamless network expansion across Europe as well as connectivity to Europe’s leading Internet Exchanges (IXs).

Enter, a network and cloud services provider based in Italy, has announced the launch of its new Remote Peering Service, securing new reseller agreements with Europe’s leading Internet IXs. These IXs include the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX); Deutscher Commercial Internet Exchange (DE-CIX) Frankfurt, Madrid and Palermo; Equinix Internet Exchange™; France-IX; London Internet Exchange (LINX); Milan Internet Exchange (MIX); Nautilus Mediterranean eXchange (NAMEX); Netnod Internet Exchange; Neutral Internet eXchange for the Czech Republic and Slovakia; Torino Piamonte Internet Exchange (TOP-IX); and Vienna Internet Exchange (VIX).

Enter has also expanded its Eastern European network by adding three new Points of Presence (PoPs) in Vienna, Budapest and Prague. With this expansion, customers now have enhanced connectivity from locations in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Austria, Czech Republic, Hong Kong and the USA to and throughout major destinations in Eastern Europe.

This also provides access to Enter’s Ethernet and Internet access services, dark fiber, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and data center services as well as Enter Cloud Suite (ECS), which is the first European, OpenStack-based cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solution. With just one connection to Enter, small-to-medium-sized communication service providers can now expand their network footprints and reach all of Europe’s top IXs.

“Enter is among the few European operators offering this magnitude of connectivity and remote peering with leading internet exchanges,” stated Milko Ilari, Head of International Business & Strategy at Enter, about the announcement. “By joining the reseller ecosystems of the country’s largest IXs, Enter enables customers to quickly expand their networks and gain access to local markets, while reducing transit costs. We’re also excited to partner with fellow local operators and providers to ensure Enter customers have access to the latest communication technology.”
