Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers AWS Networking Competency status to certain companies in its AWS Partner Network (APN) to indicate their specialized technical proficiency and proven success. To receive Networking Competency status, APN Partners must have deep AWS expertise and experience delivering digital services seamlessly over AWS.
One company that recently achieved AWS Networking Competency Status is PacketFabric. PacketFabric is now offering secure, reliable connectivity to AWS Direct Connect, which enables its customers to connect to AWS-based cloud services from any location over the PacketFabric network.
“PacketFabric is dedicated to providing secure, private network connectivity, and this agreement enables our customers to access scalable cloud services with the enhanced security delivered by our private network,” stated Jezzibell Gilmore, SVP Business Development PacketFabric. “We’re very excited to join the AWS Networking Competency Program, and to meet the market demand for secure and reliable data transport to cloud services offered by AWS.”
PacketFabric’s agreement with AWS enables extra security and performance when connecting to Amazon Web Services, as it allows them to avoid the public Internet. Connectivity can be achieved using PacketCOR, PacketFabric’s cloud on-ramp platform that allows for cost-effective connectivity to AWS and other cloud service providers.
By connecting at a PacketFabric location, customers can utilize AWS in the following AWS Direct Connect locations: US-East-1: Dallas, New York City, and Washington, D.C.; US-East-2: Chicago, US-West-1: Los Angeles and San Francisco; and US-West-2: Portland and Seattle.
