Scalable, subsea capacity-based network solutions provider AquaComms Limited recently announced the financial closing of its $300M America Europe Connect (AEConnect) subsea cable system, scheduled to provide customers with readily available, low-latency connectivity between the United States and Europe as soon as this coming December. The secured funding brought AquaComms’ contract with builder TE SubCom into force, with the cable manufacturing already underway.

Singapore, 28 May 2015 – The MEF today announced that the number of MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professionals (MEF-CECPs) has grown 350% in the last 24 months to 3,191 individuals employed by 357 organizations in 72 countries. The number of professionals certified in the month of April 2015 was the second highest monthly performance on record since the MEF-CECP program began.
